here is a new song! i did not think i would have it in me to write and record something new today, because XRAY XEROXX released a new E.P. today and i have been frantically trying to finish all the last minute promo things, like finishing the edit on a music video that is also in 3D. some people would not wait until release day to finish such a thing, but i did.

anyway the new xray xeroxx ep is called Art Rock! which is the title track and a song i wrote during fawm 2024.

it is streaming everywhere today. also if you want to see the music video here it is:

anyway, sorry i didn't have a chance to edit together any kind of video for this one. but it's a fun new wave song. i think i like it? i think it could be an xray xeroxx song.

i spent maybe ten minutes writing this song and maybe an hour or two arranging and recording it. is this a usable song? i'm so crazed from frantically getting everything done that i haven't really sat back and decided if this is good. but hey, it's definitely a song!

oh i almost forgot. i used a made up word. UNPLODE

Thanks for all the recipes they sound great! Lots of fun imagery and sounds to meet them. Sour kraut verse took me to 4 different countries. Congrats on the EP, too!

Got distracted by the Art Rock video (masterpiece), but back to the present - love me a list song. Particularly one that includes butt plugs and Vegemite. The riff on this one is great. As is the word ‘unplode’. Really strong start to the month!!
