This was my studio duet assignment that I had to record. I am not playing any instruments (we were not allowed to on our own assignments) but I wrote the words and piano parts. It was originally written for guitar and was a smashing together of a poem I wrote and music. I can write instrumental parts I AM NOT GOOD AT WRITING WORDS TO THINGS. I experimented a lot with different crazy or weird microphone placements in the studio that my professor didn't find anyone else really trying. Yet he actually told me about this one. For this one the mic placement that I felt had a huge impact on the sound was I had a mic super high up in between the piano and the vocalists that I added delay to (hence why this is a "v2" mix) and I think that just added an overall angelic feel to the whole song.
