I can't really play piano but I was messing around with a melody a while back and recorded a clip on my phone. Tidied it up a bit and added some ambience and some lyrics so I'm counting it for the #finished_it challenge. Vocals are a bit rough cos I don't usually sing low and only did 2 takes but it'll do.

Yes, I love that little melodic run up to the first chord of the progression. The simplicity of it mirrors the lyrics nicely. A virtuoso player might have put these huge chords and flourishes in that I reckon would have not been to benefit of the song.

Lovely piano melody and the lyric is boldly simple, I find this kind of lyric a lot harder to write so admire it when somebody pulls it off!

This sounds really nice. I love a short song and sometimes it doesn't need a lot of words and a complex arrangment, it just needs to be sung with heart, and that's very much the case here!

this is a really nice piano piece and I like the simplicity of the lyrics a lot, the deeper vocal sounds really good to me as well. Good stuff!
