Started watching Adam Neely's excellent new video about generative AI and got inspired to write this. If you're interested:

I wanted to do another Sekko-style track. Had to dig through a lot of ideas before landing on this funk guitar, guess that's what the song wanted. Came out reminding me of Bowie's "Fame." I'll take that comparison any day.

Lyrically, it's about how ridiculous Suno is and the people who use it. They're not making music, they're typing prompts into a computer. The CEO talks about giving users a "meaningful consumption experience." What a joke. I dare any AI to make the funk I just made. It can't. #funk #rock #vocals #hiphop #funky

Thank you! Even if I could train an LLM on my music alone and then wrote prompts, is that truly making music? I'm not convinced.

Spot on, and funky while you’re at it! It’s wisdom more sorely need to heed…those slop-vomiting clankers wouldn’t have a note to output if they hadn’t trained on the purloined music made by real musicians! I will never take prompt monkeys seriously…right on man!
