4. Abhorrence

Liner Notes
Track 4 of this "write a full album in a week or so" adventure, and it's all about, er, um, gosh. I dunno. The words just sort of fell onto the page and I yelled em. Bits of the tune are quite pretty though! #metal #blackmetal

🤘 This track is really just reinforcing that I need to get a better drum machine than GarageBand, lol. Love the atmosphere on this one and that bridge/solo section is nice. I appreciate the difference in texture without breaking the mood.
The first word that came into my mind was: filthy. I don't even know why, but this intro really kicks a**, and when you push through the blastbeats I'm having soo much fun. Wanna range, wanna smash things but I can't cause I smashed my arm. Argh!!!
The half-step intervals at 3:45 are inspired
Oh, I really love the contrasts you've got going throughout this one! There are so many distinct pieces and you've stitched them together so seamlessly. Needed this to wake me up this morning, thank you, sir!
Lovely riffing sir! And another set of lovely tones, both vocal and guitar..
Great stuff, I like the contrasts here, between the softer parts and the heavier stuff. Does sound very black metal indeed! Awesome guitar work.
Dem heavy music lyrics! Scream them words before they disappear, that is very pacey, I’d be lodging an rsi claim well before 5 minutes. Of that my dosage for today! I’m feeling better already
The guitar riffs are quite incredible. The drumming is as well. And the singing is out of this world.
Sick fucking intro. Blackened Meshuggah. Crazy riff all around. Honestly: would listen a full album of this.
Man how do I get words to just show up for me to yell on the page. What sort of dark magic are you using to conjure them up? The harmonies in that mid section were totally unexpected but oh so awesome. This rocks.
Exhilarating to listen to! This is mind-blowingly fantastic! The rhythm and lead guitar, with those drums, holy cow!
Yes, yes, yes, yes! The clean(ish) picked part vs the fast-palm muting is a very cool call-and-response idea. The guttural vocals work very well atop the madness around it. Some nice Deftones bits in the middle there!
