A slow start to the month for me, voiceless and simple, since I've been fighting some kind of nasty respiratory virus and sleeping a lot. But, still gonna start the creative wheels spinning with this little piano improv. Might be able to sing again by next week (fingers crossed).

Sorry to hear you’ve been hit by a virus, but well done for not letting it stop you completely. This is wonderful. I think because I’m always commenting on the wonder that is your voice, I don’t often say what an incredible pianist you are. The ebbs and flows of this piece are brilliant. Love the live piano recording too! Hope you’re feeling better soon, my friend 🙂

Wow this is beautiful! I'm so impressed you were able to make the energy build and fall so expertly in a piano only improvisation like this. Definitely took me on an emotional journey. Really inspiring :)

This is soooo pretty! It took me to a wonderful place. I’m sorry to hear you’ve got the dreaded lurgy! I am just recovering from something that went on for weeks. I’d love to sing something over this if you’ll allow? Send the WAV to me at [email protected] if you’re happy for me to have a play. (I jotted down some lines yesterday evening that fit nicely with it).

Congratulations on your first song! There are some songs (like this one) that really feel like a little journey. I always picture being on a train for some reason☺️. There's the forward motion, the progression, the rhythm, the hills and valleys, the colors of the landscape passing by out the window, and finally, the gentle easing back into the station. It was a lovely trip!❤️

Lovely stretching of the fingers! This easily could be the backdrop to a timelapse of some stars moving or galactic scenes. It’s got that starry feel. I have to ask, is it an acoustic piano?
Yep! It’s the upright piano in my living room that is overdue for a tuning 😜

Lovely keys felt like i could have been watching some epic slideshow or you know those artists who make pictures with sand to music. Anyway great stuff
