kinda grungy, at times metalish. would benefit from vocals or something probably but singing is not my thing. #grunge #altmetal #altrock #instrumental

edit: as suggested in the comments, i'm adding the #needscollab and #collaborationswelcome tags just in case someone wants to try adding vocals to this. i haven't written any vocal melody or lyrics so you'd have to come up with your own part. if that's not a deal breaker then anyone who's interested can feel free to leave a comment here or send me a message to let me know if you want to make a version with vocals

thank you! please feel free to make a vocal version, that would be awesome! if you need stem tracks or anything like that to make it easier to add more room for vocals in the mix let me know

Thank you!!! I got the vocals down (yippee) and I'll mix later today or tomorrow? I'll dm you on soundcloud with my email for stems but no pressure at all, I can mix either way :D Thank you so much!!

oops! i think i had DMs disabled on soundcloud (probably when i set up the account i didn't really anticipate needing to receive any). feel free to try again whenever (no rush) and hopefully it will work now that i changed my account settings

edit: oh also alternate idea, if it would be easier you could send me just the isolated vocal track and i could handle adding it into the rest of the song. but i kind of figured since you're doing the vocals you might want to have control over how they're mixed with everything else. either way would be fine with me though

This has a really interesting arrangement with much potential. Sounds like a band I'd totally listen to. It'd be awesome to find a singer for this. Why not tag it #needscollab #collaborationswelcome or look in the forums?

thanks for the comment! at first i did consider tagging this with #needscollab but decided against it since i haven't written any melody or lyrics for a vocalist. but maybe i'll add the tag anyways with the caveat that the singer will need to write their part on their own just in case someone decides they want to try doing that

Love the flats and the way it cresendos into fullness!! Such an odd yet compelling and pleasing composition... like nothing I've ever heard. I really liked the "false endings" and they way it just fades off at the real ending..
