Train to Nowhere
Liner Notes
a song about urban exploration and train hopping
Lyrics
I'm standing on the edge I'm climbing up the rooftops Can't get out of my head No forcing me to stop
Forget what's coming next It's gonna be a long trip I've long since left my bed No forcing me to stop it now
Breathe in Breathe out Again I shout
Breathe in Breathe out Again I shout
Breathe in Breathe out Again I doubt
I'm standing on the edge I'm climbing up the rooftops Can't get out of my head No forcing me to stop
Forget what's coming next It's gonna be a long trip I've long since left my bed No forcing me to stop it
Taking a train to nowhere Just hope I don't get caught Keep looking out for somewhere To know what I forgot
I'm standing on the edge Don't know how I got up here Goodbye to the trimmed hedge Goodbye to all my dumb fears

Those are some interesting comparisons. Thanks!
Love this!!! The instrumentation is so compelling! Your vocals are fantastic, such a hauntingly beautiful melody. Just the perfect amount of dissonance all taken together. So so good. Amazing work!!
Wow, thank you so much!
i was not expecting the tempo change-up in the middle, after the subdued tempo that came before it. it adds interest to the song. i know this is not a new comparison for me to make but this reminds me of Ghosts I-IV!!
I was debating whether I should tag this with industrial or not, I guess that settles it lol
I like the meditative feel of this song, with the quick paced instrumental bridge in the middle. Very cool.
Awesome punk with heavy urban energy. Love the train element, and the chorus is haunting. Great work!
The chorus is pretty cool. I could hear it as aggressive prodigy style indutrial thing. Wow. That tempo change really caught me off guard. Wonderfully off kilter! Your vocals for some reason brought to mind the gorillaz. Nice bass break too. That is quite an interesting bass sound.
