Survivor Guilt
Liner Notes
Trigger warning. The video has images of people in mild distress. Frankie, my mutant, sustainer equipped Telecaster, has been raised from cryosleep for this one.

I really like the combination with visuals, really hits harder emotionally. I've gone for just static cover images this year, but this inspires me to try a video too! Really nice symphonic composition. Sustainers are awesome, so that is always good to hear!
I don't need to express it, you know what I think of Frankie 😄 She is my soul in a guitar, and she sounds incredible even when a total crap new player tries her hand on her strings. This is a stunningly beautiful piece Paul. As it was playing I also envisioned a scene in mountains with dragons flying up and off, to war, or to something else equally deeply moving and dangerous.
Epic! Lovely playing filled with emotion. Thank you x
So good to hear that guitar back in action, and it just SOARS... What a beautiful piece of music. We're so darned lucky to have you here 😀
Your guitar has a soul, I am sure of it! There's so much raw emotion in this piece. It could very well be part of the soundtrack of a movie.
spot on. you've got an ear for composition, and it shows.
I so love the way you match your vids with your amazing compositions!! These visuals are a spot-on match to the music This one is again spectacular!! I always turn my sound system LOUD to listen to your creations so get the joy of excellent mixing and mastering. This one has it all!! I especially loved that crunchy guitar solo...so emotional..perfect outro. You, my friend are a composer extraordinaire!!
You are too kind - and I'm blushing. Thank you so much for your lovely comments.
This reminds me so much of watching Doctor Who. Lots of survivor guilt in that character. I love the sharpness of the guitar against the softness of the other layers. Great song!
Such ominous opening with the strings. Really builds up the tension. The guitar lines add some hope in to this dark foreboding piece.
Hell yeah! Right from the strings at the beginning it had me hooked, adding Frankie was always going to be perfect. I heard this first as YouTube kindly played it for me, so I hadn't read your liner notes, but I knew right away who was 'singing'.
This is so evocative right off. Your sense of composition is really fantastic. The leads are really tasteful and add a lot, which is exactly what I like to hear. Very well done!
Love that guitar. So evocative, I almost forgot to comment! You have skills, my friend. Thanks for sharing.
Good portrayal of pain in an anthemic setting.
Mutant teles are my favorite I have one too I’m about to set up and restring…thx for the reminder
Your music is so epic and your guitar is just singing. So much to love, all the changes…it’s cinematic and intense and rugged and beautiful. So many props to you
Awesome guitar tone that enhances the feel of the work so well.
