I like that thick guitar (bass?) and the way it interacts with the funky clean guitar. Love the weird sounds/rhythm at the 1:00 minute mark. And then the whoosh of the phase-shifter and those great drums. Enjoyed!

Probably a guitar! I kind of like the whooshes too, I use phasers way too little in contrast to how much I think I should. Thanks!

Your percussion sensibilities are top notch and the instrumentation plays off of that so well. Like, I feel the relationship of these different sounds bouncing off one another in such a great way. I just listening to all your stuff right now, very cool.

Love that rhythmic beginning giving way to the classic sounding lead passage. Your sonic flavours are amazing as always. There are sounds here that seem to come from 70’s rock but placed in a fresh context that is all your own. Excited to hear your new sounds, Pete

Great mix, the tune kept me really interested the entire time. Dig the sounds, panning and effects. Loved this listen!

Catchy mathy postrock, lot of cool guitar sounds, especially like the tone on the opening guitar

I really enjoyed listening to this, man. Your writing on guitar is always so fresh and creative, I feel like you must never run out of ideas. And I love the mix on this - It feels so 'real' for want of a better word. Perhaps it's the perfect level of room noise (which is quite the achievement if a lot of this is in the box!). Are you still using your modelling guitar, and BFD for the drums?

Special mention for the snare being panned right! It's so rare to hear it anywhere but dead centre but it gives it so much more life here!

[pic]

Yes, same guitar and still BFD, although i often blend it with parts from EZdrummer. Glad you like the mix, my headphones and monitors have started to sound very different, I suspect one of them is broken (or is it my ears?). Don't think I've ever got a comment on the placement of the snare, appreciate the attention to detail!:) I tend to place the snare to the right and hihat to the left to get a wider sound. A drum engineer would probably disagree. Thanks a lot!

Wow, this really grooves. I just love the rhythm...how the guitar plays with the drums. I don't know what's going on in the middle. Some sort of backwards guitar? At any rate, it's amazingly cool. It's all so catchy and memorable; there are hooks aplenty even without vocals

[pic]

Love the gritty tones! Gives me a Modest Mouse vibe. I'm bopping out to this.

[pic]

Definitely a big influence, so good to hear. Thanks!

Got me moving. Such a cool groove. Sounds and production work amazingly well together. Love the dynamic changes and the choppy harmonied guitars. Great stuff!

[pic]

Thank you, good to hear it got groove and make people move!

[pic]

Oooh you’re playing with rhythms and harmonies in such an interesting way I love this, never knew where it was going but each dimension shift felt great to follow and absolutely right. Super groove

[pic]

Thanks! Playing with rhythms and harmonies is my main thing I guess. (And drenching all mistakes in distortion, though not so much on this one:)

This is absolutely delightful to listen to. The jam quality of it really works for me, each section flows well into the other. I was a little sad to see I couldn't download it. Really nice work!

[pic]

Thanks a lot! Good to know the sections gel together while keeping a jammy quality. I'm a little hesitant to make tracks that don't feel finished downloadable. Probably silly, but it will be released eventually!
