As I'm in my late 60's, I'm trying to stay away from sugar so I avoid pastries, soda pop, etc. Someone challenged me to write a song about it so here it is. I will be posting demos so hopefully life doesn't get in the way. I tried over and over to make separate tracks with guitar and vocals with no success so I just did a one take and here it is. #sweet #guitar #fun #onetake

This has a great flow to it! It's amusing and very relatable. Great details throughout. I think you got all the favorites. "The bakery's a house of torture"....very fun! Hopefully we'll get to hear it with its music too!

Love this. Very clever lyrics. As I’ve gotten older I’ve developed more of a sweet tooth. I don’t go overboard, but it saddens me to think of giving up something that brings so much pleasure. Would love to see this set to music. The bakery as a house of torture image is so great. Nice work…and shoot, now I want chocolate and there’s none to be found.

Hey Scott, thanks for the notes. This is very relatable my friend. Sugar is the devil IMO. its a constant battle for me too. Cant wait to hear that blue guitar on this! nice start!

Oh this is adorable, and also very relatable for anyone with a sweet tooth who's really trying to overcome it. A very cute spin on "no sugar, I'm sweet enough"!
