@debs: Okay, so she's a little weird. Gotta say a special thank you to @erbaer because this was the song that FINALLY got me to use Cubase for the first time (it had bossa nova samples). Thank you also to @artie, @kissiejr, @bxphane, @cowex for making the comments that made this song!

I'll untangle all my questions eventually (mixing, buses, stereo/mono audio, why are these so many options on exporting, do I really have to set the output on every track so I can hear it? that feels stupid. how do I set the recording level when I’m using a built-in mic? i feel like takes happen automatically and don't delete? is everything i record saved outside of the DAW somewhere?). I'm just glad I pushed through and managed to actually record and export because that was the hard part. 😀
