creekside write. in and out. written with ink and pad the traditional way. record 9/9/2o26 a few days later. also can't imply something that is stated directly. far from a perfect take but it's already been a couple of day and wanted to get this recorded before heading into the most holy of days. (just thursday and friday, not talking about Rosh Hashanah but that would be cool too)

Man, I love this lyric. I don't usually read ahead, but I'm glad I did because it's just so damn cool. The first half is as relatable as it gets and the second half sounds like one of the best and most creative disses I ever heard. 😄

Musically, this is pretty adventurous. You take some standard chords, but all the sliding around adds some nice texture. And the freeform format is slick. That can come off as meandering and directionless, but in this case it felt like word painting that gives extra insight into the experience and mindset of the protagonist. The sudden end is a brilliant choice. I wasn't expecting it, but as soon as you did it, I said, "yeah" to myself. 😄

you say a lot in a few words,singing about many complications faced by songwriters in their quest for a winning song while living in a world that doesnt always appreciate a winning song.
