This is a real place up in my old stomping grounds of Shelbyville, Indiana (USA). There are many legends surrounding Werewolf Hollow, including the scratching on the car roof one. There are other stories of ghosts watchers, and stuff like that. My favorite one I was told is about a man that escaped an insane asylum, he would rub up and down the road in the hollow and howl at people passing by in their horse and buggies, thinking he was an actual werewolf. But all I ever found out there was just trees that looked carved out into a tunnel or Holler. Just like in the photo. But, anyway, I've always wanted to write a song about it. In fact I would like to name an album after it. It's not perfect or even finished. But I like the start I have so far. Don't mind the not so state of the art recording. I think the lyrics came out pretty decent.
