This one started with the drum loop at the beginning. Hearing it I wanted to try emulating that hypnotic type tone that you hear in Massive Attacks Angel and NIN's "I know you can feel it". The counting is me trying to find a cadence and tone for the lyrics

I know its on an entirely different spectrum than my previous song I uploaded (Inside your mind) but I kinda feel that if my emotions are a spectrum why can't my music be a spectrum. some days I feel the bubbly energy in "Inside your mind" and other days I feel the moodiness of this song Shift. I feel none of us should be confined to one genre.

In the works of getting a friend to lay down a verse on this one as well so i'll update when we do that.
