I'm going to be so completely honest, I've never really watched a lot of Star Trek, so I'm sure I'm not getting all of the references lol. But I really like the way the song flows and it's almost vague enough that I could still listen to it as-is and enjoy it. I don't hear EDM though-- I actually think this sounds like something an early 2000s male pop punk band would have written. I'd love to hear that version if anyone wants to give it a try. Either way though, I'd love to hear it as a dance track too! :D

Why not dance music? I have no doubt a lot of Starfleet officers like this one would appreciate it. Bonus points for "I’m an engineer not a diplomat". Good skirmish!
