The Hills of the South

Liner Notes
another one with Bedroom Producer's 606 plugin for drums. Wrote the lyrics early evening today and decided to make an electronic punk song. Well, where's the punk and where should it be. Whatever. Ah, true, did not have bass with me so just left it out. I still kinda feel that I should make some C64 bass synth but just still do not feel like putting the effort in. Maybe some time later. Maybe not.
Lyrics
I'm not too sure why I got it But the real mystery is how I left cause it seems... I never did
Keep rolling Keep rolling Keep rolling Up and down these hills
I can't recall how I left but I knew I ain't the chef for that kitchen for that crew, for that kitchen for that crew
Keep rolling Keep rolling Keep rolling Up and down these hills
Oh on these hills we buried so many dreams and I know It's my home It's my home, home, home, home
Keep rolling Keep rolling Keep rolling Up and down these hills

I came into this with no idea what it was going to sound like and it was still the opposite of that. I really like the drum sounds. The lyrics are really good
I like how this builds up at the start and settles into a groove, there's kind of a subtle anger to this song. I don't know it feels very German to me, I like it.
Lots of cool musical things going on in this song. Love the riff
