Picnic Time

V1 the sun is shining the sky is blue and the grass is bright green

let’s go outside for a picnic lunch next to the old mill stream

C1 we’ll get buns, baked beans macaroni qnd cheese to serve with the hot dogs you adore

we’ll get grapes, sweet corn, watermelon and more for our lunch so let’s go to the store

B these are the good days of our summers.. where the air is fresh and many crops can grow… but if we aren’t careful with our habits… or aren’t kind to the earth this is what we could know…

V2 the sun is covered the sky is dark gray the grass is dull brown

let’s stay inside far from smoke and heat that is all over town

C2 we’ll get buns, baked beans macaroni and cheese to serve with the hot dogs you adore

there’s no grapes, sweet corn, watermelon any more for our lunch now at the grocery store
