Under the stars we shared our thoughts Our hopes and dreams for the future Lived off cold kebabs and chilli sauce It’s hard not to find the humour

And now those days are far behind us We’ve never had it so good And so it feels like something’s missing And I don’t just mean the cuddles and kissing, oh no

Perhaps our innocence has gone We’ve seen too much of life And every day we carry on Slowly creeping to the afterlife

I miss the stars up in the sky And the time we took to notice Now every day just seems to drip by And we’re slowly losing focus
