everything I do for FAWM 2026 is to be made on my phone, listening only with its built-in mono speaker

wanted to squeeze in at least a fourth track

initial spark of lyrical inspiration was being preoccupied with things other than FAWM in the past month, but this ended up broader than my own feelings and circumstances

Life is all triage and roses that smell of my boots Perfection's my blood and I drain it to polish my boots

I need one moment to look past my shoulder and see I need ten I'll carve out when I'm older... not bolder

My fingers tire picking petals off of my boots Somehow there's blood that's not mine on the soles of my boots

This can't sustain me but I can't envision a self that walks with bare feet and escape my derision

And yet I yearn for the feeling of grass 'tween my toes My partner's from Stockholm and smothers the socks 'round my toes Why can't I learn to grow genuine fur on my toes? Maybe I'll tinker with genes next and claw through my boots

beautiful, the noisy distorted intro perfectly sets the tone for the surreal following section! those swelling pads are so lovely, and the watery vocal section with the broken pad is just brilliant, i love it

^w^ music is such a form of art that we're allowed to engage with in creative ways!!!!!!!!!! have you ever just listened to music it's pretty good!!!!!!!!!! sometimes I listen to music and it's like that, where you hear it, and stuff kinda fits together and is sequenced nicely!!!!!!!!!! that's pretty good!!!!!!!!!! that's the kind of way that it is that makes me make myself hear it!!!!!!!!!! and when you hear the sounds and the sounds sound good you know you've got a banger on your hands!!!!!!!!!! at this rate, we're going to listen to some music!!!!!!!!!! and I kinda love that for us!!!!!!!!!! it's pretty good!!!!!!!!!! music!!!!!!!!!! ^w^

Very interesting track- very impressive in its endless succession of surprising sounds- and an elliptical impressionist lyric which is a good match for the music. Mysterious and wild!
