So, here's the last one for the year. Ambient meets darkwave meets post-punk meets black metal? Or something? Although it's a simple little song, I'm pretty pleased with it. The lyrics and vocals were thrown together very quickly, so those are the only thing I'm not 100% happy with, but otherwise, it captures the atmosphere I strived for.
Cheers for this year, folks! I know I had a blast once again. See you next year!

Cheers, man! Yeah, I know what you mean. While the atmosphere is a bit dark, the melodies have a soft feel to them. Hopefully not too much, hahah!

the atmosphere, the tone, you create here is incredibly unique. initially, i was waiting for the jump scare, but then i got taken away by the soft synths, only to get shocked by the grinding outro >> you got me!! going back for a second listen...

This is both nice and very very dark. Which sounds odd, but the first 2 minutes are so relaxing. Even when it steps up a gear it has this sense of calm, which strikes me as a weird thing to think about a tune like this, but there you go ;)
