So I tried this slothcore thing, and started slow, dark, and with long, grainy, low drone sounds. I used a few downward-pitch-shifted sounds. But I found that it didn't really do it for me. I decided to add cello, viola and piano layers and added more percussion. It's still slow and dark, but much more 'solemnity' and 'divine intervention' like. I had "Hellbound" and "Revelations" as earlier title options.

I actually think this is one of my better pieces, like, ever, and without the slothcore challenge, it wouldn't have existed, so there's that. I'm pretty proud of the menacing sound, the transitions and the unusual chords and melodies and the constant key changes.

It's also my longest piece ever. I suspect though, that you will find it worth a listen, especially the final third, which, I feel, only really works with the rest of the piece building up to it.
