Month of Somedays

Liner Notes
A phrase that I haven't heard in a long time came to mind and then got twisted into something slightly different.
Lyrics
Someday, I’m gonna paint that shed, Someday, before I wind up dead. Someday, when I find the perfect red, I need a month of somedays.
Someday, I’ll make a bunch of art. Someday, finish what I start. Someday, invest the needed heart. I need a month of somedays.
They used to say, a lazy man would take a month of Sundays To finish up a job once he began. Maybe not so lazy, but I’m far too good a dreamer, Who waits 'til "someday" comes to turn ideas into plans.
Someday, I’ll pay all the debts I owe Someday, so far, it’s going slow Someday, even ones nobody knows I need a month of somedays.
Comments
Nice twist on an old expression.
I think we could all make good use of a month of somedays. If only they accumulated! Rather than feeling sad or hopeless, this feels sweetly wistful.
