Another late night, another one-take somewhat stream of consciousness piece of drivel spewed out. I think some of the subject matter comes from some dreams. I don't know, maybe this should have been called "Many a Classic Spew." MANY A CLASSIC TUNE

Well I’m standing on a corner Like many a classic tune Thinking about the dentist I better go see her soon And I’m trying to mind my own business But these denizens won’t go away Daggers, lookin’ me up and down And the one who kneels down to pray

We used to think we were special And I guess we in some ways we are But don’t get too full of yourself Don’t let it go too far Cause you know that tomorrow You could be just a memory In the back of someone’s mind Some fragment of history

Now I’m moving down the avenue I know I’ve been down before Still sometimes it’s hard to know What’s the location, what’s the score But I suddenly turn a corner And what do I see The whole wide world and a universe Beckoning me Calling out my name And it’ll never be the same

Here’s comes my old friend Who met a gruesome end Now he looks okay But I don’t know what to say So I follow, without fear Maybe the end is near Maybe just the beginning Maybe I’m still dreaming Maybe the end is coming soon Like in some classic tune
