I've had a horror time dealing with a certain incompetent government department lately, so earlier this month decided to use a couple of riff ideas I had lying around to write a brutal rock song to get some of that anger out.

Unfortunately I broke yet another A string about half an hour in, and couldn't be bothered going to the shop that day to get some more, so decided to press ahead without a guitar - routing the bass through a stereo guitar set up, a la Royal Blood I guess.

And this is what came out...

Very quick vocal, to the point where I actually ended up singing the wrong words in some parts (I do all the different parts separately and failed to properly check where I had decided backing parts would go... ah well, just a demo etc).

The riffs I chose also didn't really fit together in terms of tempo, but I found a way to merge them... perhaps a bit clunky but something like that, maybe a keyboard instead of drums?
