Lyrics
[1] Fate in the wind The big wheel turning Has to turn again
That’s all very fine Take me back To what I know is mine Down to the line
[pre-chorus] Sat down on the edges of the Hands of the clock Waiting by the door so if the Angels want to knock I’m here and
[chorus] Waiting For the big wheel to turn Waiting For the big wheel to turn My way
[2] Shake off the dust Change is coming As we know it must
Do not intervene Says the wizard With the time machine What can it mean
[pre-chorus] Sat down on the edges of the Hands of the clock Waiting by the door so if the Angels want to knock I’m here and
[chorus] Waiting For the big wheel to turn Waiting For the big wheel to turn My way
[pre-chorus] Sat down on the edges of the Hands of the clock Waiting by the door so if the Angels want to knock I’m here and
[chorus] Waiting For the big wheel to turn Waiting For the big wheel to turn My way

I can picture the tiny person sitting on the enormous clock hands. A great example of making the abstract concept physical. Nice job
This has such a cool, timeless vibe—the “big wheel” metaphor makes the whole song feel cosmic and reflective. I love the image of sitting on the hands of the clock waiting for angels to knock; it’s poetic, visual, and really sticks with you.
"Sat down on the edges of the Hands of the clock" is a wonderful image. But watch out when that big wheel turns.
