#blues #bluesy #folk This song took a completely different direction that I expected it to. Both stylistically and lyrically.
Lyrics
Sixty-Six Cadillac
Skirmish [Gold, Silver, Bronze]
Late Start Old time Looking for my next dime Wiped out French Roast Coffee tastes like burnt toast
She had it painted gold
She drove a sixty-six Cadillac Sixty-Six Cadillac
Side Track Hard Pack Talking to my bad back Cold Cash Old Trash Waiting for the backlash
She had it painted gold
She drove a sixty-six Cadillac Sixty-Six Cadillac

Ah, this is Very Cool! Loving your vocal stylings a lot! And this brought back memories for me because a friend of mine had a '66 DeVille whose interior and trunk were almost as roomy as my studio apartment!
Very Dylanistic (or maybe Wallflowers) lyrical, and I love the gravelly delivery. And who would paint a vintage Cadillac gold instead of pink? Great skirmish!
Cool character development. Love the gravel in your vocals and the vocal styling - just perfect for these lyrics. I really like the bluesy/folky kind of feel. The reinforces the feel with the bass note then single chord - and rocking back and forth between those 2 chords. Great skirmish and a very creative take on the prompt!
Loving the gravely blues and awesome images! Cool use of language and word play throughout! Wonderfully creative take on the prompt!
