Lyrics
Sorrow comes from the fire Love is gone but near Can almost see the vision And the wind reminds me
Steps out of the flowers And into the darkness Everything is known beyond What’s meant for the soul
The water drips on slowly On my bike and take off A lady wearing dark sunglasses And the light turns red
Bring in the calvary The things we do for love We were waiting by the gate Battle of little round top
Soldiers lie at my feet Half moon in the night Stars begin to flicker And sparks start to fly
Love flows from the heart Cracked glass and rope The game continues A talk by fire light A shout in the dark The wheels are turning
Love isn’t wrong (repeat)

I love this kind of writing. So many details but we don't totally know what you are talking about - so we get to use our imagination and experience to fill in the blanks. Such a great way to invite listeners into your song. Great grungy sounding guitar and real drums - what a treat! So cool what you did with the last stanza - and that ascending chord progression . Oh super cool ending too with all those sounds. Oh wait - how beautiful - the outro - I really like what you did there on that repeating line and how you changed it up - it felt so exposed in a good way. Great harmony over your vocal here. What a journey you take us on - great song!
Fun! Loads of attitude, and I love the cymbals. Sounds raw, in a good way. Nice one! I could definitely picture this on an album.
