How Very Dare You

Liner Notes

Every now and then I get into an old band and completely devour their entire catalogue in a very short space of time. A few years back it was Simple Minds, then it was XTC followed by Killing Joke.

This week, it was KMFDM... but no, screaming in German at 9am in a townhouse with shared walls isn't really an option. But this will do for the demo.

Lyrically, well, my daughter keeps using the phrase 'how very dare you!' and I thought it would be a good title.

Great title. Those words look great together. This one is intense and I dig it! That guitar tone could shave my face…not the hair from the flesh…the flesh from the bone Hannibal lecter escaping from jail style!!! Thanks for all the music and the kindness dude! I always look forward to your music and you never disappoint

Love the fact you explore many different styles throughout the years. I really enjoyed listening to this one. Great title given by your daughter. Knowing that, it lifts the song even more. Nice one!

How very dare you! My daughter says the same. I think it's from Bluey.

That's a fun hook - "I dare you to say"

Good stuff!

Bluey!? Oh man. But I guess it was that or Peppa Pig, or Kpop Demon Hunters...

Awesome stuff. Love the metal riffs. Still maintains that catchy element. Guitar tone is brutal. Production is top notch. The female vocal works great as a counter to your lead vocal. Nice solo section. Great stuff

This might be my favorite track I've heard this year. The guitar and rock edge of this reminds me of 10 machine but the vocals take me to a completely different place and it is a fascinating sound. Something about that title just really hits home with me too.
