Lyrics
It starts out great then its just good Then it's not so good, then it's bad Every time, everyone, everything I've ever had I'm starting to think it's me As far as I can see Starting to think that it's me
Don't want to feel sorry for myself I'd rather just reflect for a while I wonder what I did to offend It's not my intentional style As far as I can tell it's me But I don't want to dwell you see
It was g reat at the start Then the downhill part Then rapidly getting worse If I had a dime for every time I could fill my purse
It starts out long Gets shorter Stops

digging the arrangement, the syncopated guitar. don't tell anyone, but I struggle to listen to demos with out of tune singing, so your voice is a pleasure.
I have struggled for years to make friends, so this has real meaning for me, though I'd rather find a nonliteral meaning for it, because that would be fun.
I like the internal rhyme of 'dime' and 'time' and the prosody of 'gets shorter, stops'
