Liner Notes

I just got home from a trip which was lovely but has cut into my FAWM time. I should be sleeping. But a #tremolo #reverb pedal and a #baritoneguitar got me thinkin' and now it's 2am. Whoops. Well here's a quick postcard.

The layered guitars with sustained and then fading tremolo give me this sense of a crowd of people all talking amongst themselves, and as the more "forward" instruments slowly come into the mix is is like the musicians doubts or insecurities begin to cloud the interaction and he starts to feel more isolated. Not necessarily negative in his isolation, because the music is up-tempo, but the musician is still living an experience outside the crowd he is in. Good thought provoking piece, which is probably why I just wrote an unhelpful rambling monologue - I enjoyed your song and wanted to share the journey the music took me on - well done!

Lovely stuff. Making great use of the low end there. Really evocative of a night in a strange city.

Love the baritone. I recently bought one myself, and it's fantastic. This has a really refreshing vibe. Not much else to say, just that this was a pleasure to listen to. Keep 'em comin'!

Next fawm we'll have to start a #baritoneguitar challenge.

The laid-back groove and the way new sounds enter, the tune unfolds and builds up is a soothing Sunday morning experience.

any song which could be described as "drenched in reverb" is a good start in my book. nice slow build, important in an instrumental.

I need a baritone. yes, need. I'm accepting donations.

the break to chords at 1:30 is sweet. little leap at 2 minutes to more and bigger keeps it interesting. and the slow fade: so nice, peaceful and relaxing.

Thank you! And yes, you absolutely deserve a baritone in your life! Why, put a capo on it and suddenly it's a regular guitar! but it does have a ringy tone all its own.
