For Those We've Lost

Liner Notes
Our time spent alive on this floating rock is so short and fragile. We have the option to spend our time being kind to others, even those we disagree with. That's the option I want to choose every single day.

Thank you Eric!!
Its quite magical to be able to see you creating as you develop your tracks. how the music forms when your fingers have left the keys. Its mesmerising and complicated and beautiful. The atmosphere you have created here is full of contemplation sprinkled with optimism
Thank you so much for the kind words, Celine!
Contemplative sounds as per usual! Being kind to those we disagree with is more an art than a science in this volatile world (IMO), but it's an art nonetheless. Oh yeah, and what Fuzzy says.
It sure is a strange world we live in. My wife and I sometimes ask each other if we think we're stuck in the "alternate timeline" based on how crazy things have gotten.
Similar to you, when things are really bad, I question whether I am living in a simulation (though I don't think that's rooted in emotional health).
I don't have a problem with being kind to others; I have a problem with being kind to myself. :( Super lovely as usual. Those long tails are really working for me. I've always been fascinated with modular racks; not the sound so much as all the flashing lights and the multi-coloured wires. Yeah, awesome work here for sure.
I hear you, it can be hard to be kind to ourselves. And I get what you mean about being fascinated by modular setups for sure.
My dude! This is a PERFECT example of how being economical with the notes in a melody is SO powerful. I felt like I was floating down a quiet stream on a perfect day; purely consciousness.
Your setup is absolutely mad too - in a very good way! Love seeing beautiful hardware like yours!
Hey thank you!! I really appreciate all of what you said :D
Yes, so short and fragile. I finished a song last night ("Stage IV") about someone I've recently lost; it's the opposite of this: all harshness and anger. It's great to float along with this lovely meditative piece. Happy to have the visuals with all those pretty colored wires! Good interweaving of tones. I like how the song unfolds at its stately pace of peace.
