I Die Quietly

Liner Notes
I was recording the song I wrote this morning and just started playing a little something not much just came out and I ran with it for a few minutes.
I won't say what all went into this lyric but a large part was written as a sort of goodbye from my Grandfather to my Grandmother. He passed in '82 or '84 and was not the sort of person who spoke eloquently about his feelings. Or about them much at all as far as I know. He had been in a severe work accident and was hospitalized for a very long time. Was never truly healthy after that. But still he provided for his family.

Lyrics
I die quietly Lest you be disturbed I will hold you in my arms It's less than you deserve
I was cursed A broken man Until you saved me from myself I am thankful for this borrowed time
I die quietly Sad to leave you alone I have lead a blessed life For the love we've known For the love we've known

We can learn so much from these tough old ancestors. Nice tribute to someone who knew the real basics of living! Very nicely delivered mate
I love this sweet love song— such a beautiful sentiment!!! Well done!
