a kind of metaphor I guess and the country is talking about Honky tonk music... in the city and country.... of course... thanks to Vaughan and Phil for the collaboration.

I like the title but it took me awhile to interpret it, as blood is actually quite a bit thicker than neon..so i take it that this lad is more drawn to the city lights than the country family life. really nice guitar and vocal on the demo, and i appreciate the classic structure of the country song while the lyrics step outside of the usual cliches.
