Very cool song. The lyrics really match my feelings on some days of the year…Your singing reminds me of David Bowie, especially in the chorus.

Nice one! A power pop birthday song, sort of...I like those last verse lines, no traces of me left for you to find. I like this arrangement too, this would make a really good band song, it's depressing but rocking which is kinda my wheelhouse I guess
