Lyrics

North of reason, south of sane Taking turns taking the blame Open season in my brain Making meaning out of pain You can leave if it’s all too much But I hope we can stay in touch Girl, I get it. There’s no rush. Can’t make paper out of us.

If you don’t know, I guess you’ll have to guess Just let it go, more is less

West of hatred, east of shame, Serving something you can’t contain You can’t placate what you can’t name Call it perfect, get away

If you don’t know, I guess you’ll have to guess Just let it go, more is less

that contrast between the fuzzy instrumental and your crystal clear vocals at the start is awesome!! great chords/ structure and great instrumental ability! super cool

oh this took me back to late 90's early 00's - this is cracking track. the rhythm change on 'making paper out of us' then into that fast guitar work. excellent!! enjoyed the whole journey of this song and bobbed my head all the way through

fuzz rules here loud n clear! cool lyric especially that opening line. Cool music that sounds like its all in a rush to come out to play! very unique song . top stuff again!

That's a cracking chord progression in there. With the big vocals, the fuzz on the bass, the lively-af drums, it reminds me of an early Ben Folds tune (except without the piano). Really cool. Absolutely love it.

This is stellar, love everything about this. Really sweet harmonies all the way through, bursting with energy. Great production too, as the first commenter says. You manage to squeeze a lot of variation into the guitar work to keep it interesting. The changing up of the vocal rhythms too is really nice. I guess the bass is going way below e1? Not sure, but it adds a really fat and distinctive sound.

Yeah! All the "guitars" on this are a cittern, which goes down to C2. I dropped it an octave in post for the bass parts. Thanks for listening and for commenting 🙏
