Liner Notes

#indie #country #full-production #stereorama Been floating this around and going back to it between other things. I think the sound of my tele inspires these kinds of songs lately.

Lyrics

Tarmac beat beneath your feet Endless traffic and congested streets Underneath electric power lines

Searching day and night for the signs A little vision but you still feel blind When the day seems dark as the night

You are miles and miles away Walk the path on different plain Trying to find away out of this pain

What happened to all that you loved? What did they do to ya? Its a never ending road to Valhalla

Oh, it’s a never ending road to Valhalla..

Great western vibes with great indie sensibilities. Your voice is great and the chorus feels instantly classic. yeah, really nice sounds from the tele! Almost Beach Fossils vibe to the vocals.

Thanks so much! I think I have a synthesized idea of what these songs are supposed to sound like. I don't really listen to music like this but my idea of it comes out like this. 🤷‍♂️

That is an amazing sound. I love the Tele. This has a real Dave Davies vibe. If you haven't heard his solo work apart from the Kinks, check out Imaginations Real. Very well done.

Thanks, I hope it sounds ok. I was a jazz master player for the longest time then got a tele and really it's all I play now. I'll check out Dave Davies for sure. A big tele guy I'm a fan of is Jim Compilongo.. that guy is incredible.

Ooooh, getting some real end-of-the-movie Tarantino vibes with this one. Love it!

Nice! I didn't think about that. He definitely has gritty, rough road kind of stories.
