We can see beyond the human eye And look under the surface We’re trying to answer the questions why As part of the medical service

Wonder is all around us Sometimes hidden from view Ancient civilisations Come to life, in X-rays of the land

Light detection and ranging Lidar will do for short Laser pulses, bouncing off objects Hidden beneath the surface

We can’t do the same with thoughts At least not yet anyway That’s what they thought about X-rays Way back in the olden days

I liked the mention of X-rays of the land to see what's been hiding underneath all along. But ugh - I hope no one creates an Xray for thoughts.
