Liminal Space
Liner Notes
I have been a bit musically stuck again, but this morning I saw someone use the phrase "Liminal Space" and that inspired me a little:
"In Internet aesthetics, liminal spaces are empty or abandoned places that appear eerie, forlorn, and often surreal. Liminal spaces are commonly places of transition, pertaining to the concept of liminality."
So I read this definition and played around with my sound libraries, I wanted something that had a lot of space and shifted between minor and major keys... I found this library called "Piano Colors" which makes these percussive and harmonic, almost random, note sequences and it was a lot of fun to use.
I also asked a friend "What instrument should I add to this?" and without hearing the song, she said "Cowbell." 😁 So I get to use the Cowcore tag again! It has been awhile...
Thanks for the listen!

Lots of lovely sounds, but the cowbell is key...
Love the soundscape! Very fun to listen to ... and fitting for the prompt. Great job arranging & producing it
I definitely hear liminal space in this. Love the percussion, especially that cowbell (and that was before I read how they came to be! 😀) The 'choir'-like sound makes it sound as if something is haunting you. I love the heaven-like 'floating' part, and the snoring ogre 🙃
