Liner Notes

For whatever reason, this was super easy. I was just playing around with ostinato groupings, and this just kind of happened accidentally.

The main idea was to keep the ostinatos major-minor agnostic where possible. In natural minor, if you avoid the tones b3 and b6 in the key, you will never hit that semitone-above-a-chord-tone dissonance as long as the chords are in the key, so it's super free to play like that, letting you focus on being fancy with polymeters, etc. (Btw, playing B minor pentatonic over E minor progression has the same idea.)

#prog #rock and just about heavy enough for #metal tag also maybe?

Oh hells yeah! Your mind seems to work exactly like mine about theory things like that.
