The poor harmony just wants to climb up from Em to F♯m, but the evil pitch shifter is simultaneously dragging it down, so the harmony is stuck modulating to itself while the piano degrades to oblivion. So tragic.

On the other hand, it's a tale of survival. The evil pitch shifter drags everything down, but the harmony keeps fighting by climbing up the sinking ladder. So inspiring.

Finally, both stop trying. So typical.
