Oh wow now I want a rubber bridge guitar! What a lovely tune. "break the body to build soul up to burn on its own." I enjoy the forest fire metaphor very much and this happy-sad sentiment of growth and change through destruction. You have very pleasing changes here and a nice flowing melody. Definitely rework this one. Very nice.
