Liner Notes

Well this was a fun one for sure. No magazines to hand, so I used a random useless website generator and visited a few to get some ideas...

Lyrics

The disappearing cyclist Fades into the night Swerving and swaying A colourful sight

Some dots are here to stay And others disappear Trick of the eye Or trick of the mind

Drag to make patterns in the sand Not real sand, real patterns Random, seldom planned Visible to the human soul

You have been honouring the pug for several seconds He follows your gaze as you move the mouse Like a classical painting whose eyes never leave you I found it weird and confusing

The guitar sound here really stands out. Great take on the skirmish theme - I like the random nature of the lyrics. Lots that could be read into the song's meaning I think

A bit Robin Hitchcockian in tone and abstractness.

The random phrases flow together in a surprisingly cohesive way. I love the laid-back vocal against that nice crunchy guitar, it gives the whole thing a slightly off-kilter vibe that fits the lyrics perfectly.

I really like the guitar tone on this. The cut up words work very well. So non-specific as to almost hold a meaning, but not quite.

Brilliant. Love your sound Would be curious to know which words you pulled?

Thank you kindly! Basically, the first line of each verse was lifted from a different website each time. The honouring the pug website was certainly the strangest, and most useless I have encountered, lol

Super heavy guitar sound - just past the edge of breakup - I like the image you paint with the words - and the disturbing noise of the guitar gives a sense of madness that reflects the lyric really well. Great little track
