Miss You

Skirmish: I'd do it all again... (@ajna1960)Liner Notes
I feel like I could add too many stanzas to this. I miss so many pets, family, and friends, especially those gone too soon. #piano
Lyrics
I miss you Some days aren't so hard But some nights I fall to tears Reading that last Christmas card
And I'd do it all over The good and the bad The dinners, the garden The treats you always had
I miss my grandma I'd do it all over For the chance to Hug her again
I miss you Some days aren't too bad But some nights I fall apart Looking through pictures on the ipad
And I'd do it all over The highs and the lows The walks and the cuddles You showing up at the windows
I miss my cat I'd do it all over For the chance to Hug her again

Sad but lovely. Made me think about our many, many pets who have moved on. Very pretty sound, your vocal sounds great. We were joking recently about a house we lived in for a long time and how many pets were buried in the back yard!
Sad and sweet. That organ is the perfect sound to weave this lovely piece together.
Such a warm, connected place for a song to come from. Very nice.
What a sweet, heartfelt song about missing the loved ones we've lost along the way! Brought a tear to my eye thinking about my own grandma. Just beautiful!
Your comment about limitless stanzas here is interesting. Maybe the singer is certain she would "do it all again" for grandma/cat verses. But the verses about "you" might start, "would I do it all over?" And then last verse could be her decision. Just a thought. BTW, I binged all your other songs this afternoon -- LOVE them, your emotion, imagination, range of sounds, and esp. your variety of subjects. You are very talented, thanks for being here.
