I was gonna save this one for a 10x10, but since it's already 30 seconds long, I might as well let it stand on its own. It's the sort of thing you tack onto the end of an album, a silly little vignette, but it's been that kind of month, so you get it as song number 3. While, er, I work on song number 2 which only has an instrumental demo right now.

First song in #dutch ! First in a long time that I've done that was in 3/4 time. I told people I'd make a #smartlap and I'm still going to. In fact, at some point I was going to make a whole 10x10 of smartlappen. But there's at least one piece that I planned for that that's gonna have a single verse that's over a minute because it's in the nature of a good tearjerker to go on a bit. Meanwhile this is based on a joke cartoonist Roy Spraakman made 30 years ago. And because it's the sort of thing you tack onto the end of an album, I had a bit of fun mangling the sound into something not unlike a crappy old radio.
