WARNING: This song clocks just over the seven minute mark. Please allow ample time for the entire Ꜫӿꝓƺᶉḭꬱἦꞓƺ. Thank you.

Over the past number of years I have been developing a Sci-Fi universe as part of my creative writing projects. I will admit, many elements are inspired by Star Wars, but there are many unique things about my Argentrooper universe as well. A couple of years ago I started writing a trilogy of books which tell the story of two, young alien characters named Kata & Kyar. They come from a culture partly inspired by the Mandalorians, as well as by the Japanese. The scene this song depicts is from Book 2, Divine Partnership. It is when they first meet while on their Mazakazul, a sacred coming-of age journey all Rækonians have to undertake in the wilderness in order to find themselves & discover their place in the universe before being given the status of adulthood. The Mazakazul is supposed to be a solitary journey of self-discovery, but the Goddess, Mar Vreel, has other plans for Kata & Kyar. In the moonlight, Kata hears the noise of water splashing & fears it is one of the jungle's dangerous preditors. So, he goes to investigate. What he finds, tho… well… She is his destiny.

This is another imrpovised track (music & lyrics) created as the "tape rolled". I really like at how this turned out.

See You In The Shadows…

Lyrics

Meeting In The Moonlight ===================

The jungle is deep And I wander To find myself And in the night I try to stay warm But I hear a sound In the distance

I approach with caution Not knowing what to expect And I see the figure In the distance The sound of water dripping And I'm amazed At the sight I behold

She's like a goddess In the moonlight Without her armour Exposed to my sight

Exposed to my sight Exposed… Her skin is radiant In the moonlight

And we share a meal Back at my campsite I don't know how I feel As we talk in the moonlight What sign has the Goddess sent me? This angel of beauty Searching for herself In the jungle like me

And in the morning We part ways Because that's what tradition Tells us we must do It's what we must do… But I can't stop thinking of you Standing in the moonlight Standing in the moonlight Exposed to my sight Standing in the moonlight Exposed to my sight

The Goddess sends me a sign… She sent me a sign… I will follow…

Marked NSFW because the lyrics hint at nudity (which is what happens in the novel…).

exceptional Improv! That initial and truely inconvenient pause felt awkward yet absolutely essential to this listening experience. there is so much space in this im having time to think and its making the whole journey different somehow.

No bread tags this year?? I've been using them as slides on my bass guitar. My bass always ends up with plastic dust all over it, tho. So, fully improvised, then? Awesome work there, thinking fast. I'm liking the little riff between the verses (I think that's where it is...) And all the space you're leaving. I can see (hear?) why you like this one so much. You really are productive!! Nice work!!

More facets of your creative talent! I admire those who can build other worlds. Enjoyed the breaks in the music allowing the silence to speak. Beautiful imagery in the lyrics.
