The song is named for the old beater I played all the parts (except the deedle oo doos) on: It was once a $79 Yamaha classical guitar. I did $5 worth of web music in trade for it. Fifteen years later I took a Dremel and cut the neck narrower and tuned it in fifths, like a tenor, only in E. The intonation is garbage and the tone is garbage and it's virtually unplayable. Also a thick coat of black paint to cover up where I washed and scraped off the thick layer of tempera paint isn't helping. I have real guitars. I keep hoping this one gets run over by a truck.

And the phrase carved on the front is from a comment David Crosby once made about Neil Young (out of respect)

"Neil gets up every morning and combs some music through his hair and he goes downstairs and has a steaming cup of music and a great big plate of music for breakfast and then he goes and does the only thing he does." [I probably misremembered and paraphrased and just plain made some parts up.]
