Apple's built-in autocorrect feature is AI-driven and probability-based: Instead of trying to discern what you meant to type, it inserts some common word that may have some of the same letters - or not.

I'm not the greatest typist I sometimes transpose letters Autocorrect once knew how To make my boo-boos better

But now when I type quickly And words don't come out neatly AI-enhanced “correction” Changes things completely

Now I can't share my thoughts with you I got the AI autocorrection blues

For example, as I'm writing this It's pulling me astray And making wild revisions To what I'm trying to say

"I want to talk about" becomes "I flat want to talk snippy" "Autocorrect" is "attic pierce" Which sounds a little dippy

"Without" becomes "torture" That one is mysterious "Mysterious" comes out "breweries" The situation's serious

"Serious" is "firefly in" And on and on it goes What AI is trying to say I sure as hell don't know

AI's "correction" algorithm Never gets it right It turns my words to gibberish Whenever I mistype

These days when sending emails I must pay close attention Or AI will get me sent off To dementia detention
