The whole AI discussion is, as with every subject in the attention economy, meant to divide us and pit us up against each other. I don't understand the desire to belittle human creativity; technology is a tool and shouldn't be used to further the wealth of the few.

I came across this YouTube video which I totally agree with:

I watched it and thought it would be cool to try and make a breakbeat song using mostly samples; of course the irony is not lost on me... AI would do a much better job of this than I did, but it was fun and another song done at least!

Thanks for being real. I feel very similarly to you about all these divisive issues. I enjoy me a cool tool. I also like to grow as a person alongside my cool tools.

This is so complicated, isn't it?! Many people now have the tools to mimic "professionalism" but there's no substitute for artistry... like the joy that comes through anything you do and create @kristian ! My favorite moment is the "pro AI - anti AI" part! Thanks for taking on this big topic... and for sharing that video...(which I will look at AFTER fawm! It's so long!)
