I wanted to screw more with samples this year and my song count was falling behind so I fiddled about with some music and voice lines from the anime Suzuka (a terrible show that I love dearly, inspiration for many a Jonii song). I was originally gonna try to do more of a full song with overdubbed bass and fun chord changes and structure, but I sort of struggled with the melody here as well as building on it and I decided playing into the romantic vibe and making a fun short song ala Lorde's "Loveless" fit what I was doing more. The song the harp sample comes from is "May Happiness Continue" from that show's soundtrack and the voice lines are from episodes 3 and 12. I pitched the harp up a semitone and also pitched up my vocal to add to the dreamy, trippy sort of quality.
